Welcome to Never Overdressed! For a while now, I have been debating whether or not to follow my heart and start a fashion/lifestyle blog. However, since it is something I have wanted to do for a while, I am deciding to just go for it! I love fashion and want to be able to share my style with others, which is why I’m so excited about this blog and this new chapter of my life!

Now, for the actual fashion part of this post- I wanted to start off my blog with something a little more elegant. Just a disclaimer: this outfit is definitely not on the same level as my everyday style, I am usually much more casual…! However, if you’re feeling fancy, this little black dress with a pearl embellished collar is a classic look that is perfect for a night out, or even a business event. It is a classy, but statement look with bright red accents that give the outfit a bit of spark.  I got my dress from Saks Off 5th, but unfortunately it is sold out. However, I found an alternative black dress that has an embellished pearl collar.

With that, I paired my black dress with bright red BCBG pumps (Shoes Similar) to add a pop of color to this outfit. To continue the bright red trend in this look, I chose to wear Dior Riviera nail polish. I love the color and quality of this polish, and it lasts for a while. However, if you’re looking for a less expensive alternative, Essie Geranium is awesome.

As for my accessories, I am wearing some bracelets from Bourbon and Boweties, along with some faux pearl bracelets from JCREW. You can find these bracelets or similar looks by browsing their websites!

My black sunglasses are from Nordstrom, and they are Marc Jacobs. I love these glasses because they go with so many different outfits and styles. I found an extremely similar pair here.

Finally, I am carrying a Tory Burch Logo Clutch in the first photo (which I LOVE) and a Maison Goyard tote bag in the last. I have linked similar style bags at the top of this post!

If you have any other questions about me or this look, feel free to comment or email me! Have a great weekend! xoxo J
